Croston House Childrens Home

Croston House Children's Home is a Thai registered Foundation located n Lamphun a short drive from Chiang Mai, cares for 29 disadvantaged children from broken homes. The children range in age from a 22 months to 15 years of age and are cared for by Glenn and Rosjana Croston.

While most of the children are not orphans in the strict sense of the word, they come from families that have been seriously affected by drugs and other addictions, HIV/AIDS and other diseases, parents in prison or families that are simply unable to afford to provide for the children properly. Some of them have been simply abandoned with other relatives after their parents left the family home and did not return. Without the help and support of the foundation, they may well have had nowhere else to turn.

The Home is trying to improve the facilities for the children with the main priority being transport to get the children to school without having to pay costly taxi fares. To raise money Glen is going to be walking 1,400 km across Thailand in 45 days. To get him off to a good start Tuskers is holding a fundraiser on Friday August 29th which we hoped will be well supported by our customers.

On the night we have a number of fundraising activities including -

BBQ Buffet - Enjoy Tuskers great BBQ for just 200 baht a head - have a great meal and we will donated 100 baht to Croston House

Cut 4 It Charity Special - Cut 4 It is back with special charity rules! For every drink you buy between 7 and 8pm. Cut a heart and Croston House gets 50% of the price, cut a diamond and you get 25% off, cut a club and Croston House gets 25% of the price, cut a Spade and Croston House get 10%. Sounds complicated in writing but very straighforward on the night.

Play Your Cards Right Charity Special - Buy as many 20 baht tickets as you want and we will have a draw for the right to play our popularPlay Your Cards Right game for 50% of the cash pot. The other half goers to Croston House.

Raffle - Some great raffle prizes with tickets only 20 baht wach.

Games - Plenty of games of chance and skill with the wimer sharing the entrance fees with the charity.

Croston House is a great charity which gives a home and ope to some of Thailand's most needy children. Please support our evening b coming down on Friday August 29th from 7pm and bringing some friends. It should be great fun and you will be helping support this small but excellent charity.
